Welcome to ASLIBS 2027!
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 7th Asian Symposium on Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (ASLIBS 2027), which will be held from June 21 to 24, 2027, at Hotel Hyundai by Lahan Mokpo, Republic of Korea.
Since its inauguration in Wuhan in 2015, ASLIBS has grown into a vital platform for fostering collaboration and exchanging groundbreaking ideas among LIBS researchers across Asia and beyond. As LIBS technology continues to evolve—integrating with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and multimodal data fusion—its applications are expanding further into industrial, environmental, and biomedical fields.
ASLIBS 2027 will be hosted in Mokpo, a historic port city on the southwestern coast of Korea. Known as a maritime hub since the 12th century, Mokpo offers a unique blend of beautiful landscapes where mountains and sea meet, a rich tradition of modern arts, and world-class local cuisine.
We are confident that ASLIBS 2027 will provide an inspiring environment for academic excellence and memorable cultural experiences. We look forward to welcoming you to Mokpo for a successful and fruitful symposium.
Sincerely,
Yonghoon Lee
